I am a Professional member of the AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association), and a certified and licensed massage therapist in the city of Worcester, Massachusetts. I started my business in October 2002 after graduating from the nationally accredited Bancroft School of Massage Therapy in Worcester, Massachusetts. While at Bancroft, I had extensive training in Anatomy and Physiology, Swedish massage techniques, deep tissue techniques, sport massage and Shiatsu. I also received an introduction to polarity (energy work), reflexology and hydro-therapy. I completed more than 60+ hours of clinic time, an internship with the Y.M.C.A. of Greater Worcester and Project HOPE, and worked on the runners in the 2002 Boston Marathon and many other races. The two years I trained at Bancroft were some of the best years of my life. In 2004, I assisted in teaching a deep tissue course at Bancroft for one year. In late 2005, I took a continuing education coarse in Neuromuscular Therapy (lower extremities) and plan on taking many more in the near future including energy, myofacial, and cranial sacral work. I have been in the massage therapy field for over 8 years now and every day the incredible experience of massage, and the health benefits it brings to my clients, just continues to amaze me.
